Boart Longyear has adopted the Boart Longyear Code of Business Conduct for the purpose of establishing and maintaining high standards of ethical and legal behavior in all facets of our business (whether in Australia, the United States or any other location) consistent with Boart Longyear’s corporate governance policies and practices.
This Code serves to (1) emphasize Boart Longyear’s commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance with the law; (2) set forth basic standards of ethical and lawful behavior; (3) provide reporting mechanisms for known or suspected ethical or legal violations; and (4) help prevent and detect wrongdoing.

CODE OF BUSINESS CONDUCT
This Code of Business Conduct applies to, and governs the conduct of, all employees, officers and directors of Boart Longyear, as well as to employees, officers and directors of each member (whether in Australia, the United States or any other location) of the Boart Longyear group of companies, which are referred to collectively as “Boart Longyear.”
Compliance Helpline
Boart Longyear is committed to fostering a culture of compliance, good corporate governance and ethical behavior and encourages the reporting of improper, unlawful or unethical behavior. If you believe such behavior may have occurred at Boart Longyear, you can make a confidential and, if you wish, anonymous report to the compliance helpline by telephone or over the internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The helpline is available to current and former Boart Longyear employees and third-parties (contractors, suppliers, customers and other stakeholders) and is managed by Convercent®, an independent third-party administrator.
Reports can easily be made over the internet at www.convercent.com/report. The internet reporting site is in English, but can be translated to other languages. A report can also be made by telephone; translation assistance is available. The dialing instructions and local phone numbers are listed on the internet site. Any report received will be forwarded confidentially to the General Counsel for review and investigation.
At Boart Longyear, we encourage our employees and others to speak up. It is important to us that you feel comfortable sharing your concerns without worrying about possible retaliation. Boart Longyear does not tolerate retaliation against a person who reports a concern honestly and acting in good faith. We encourage individuals to speak up if they believe they have been retaliated against for filing a report.
